21. The Altar Boy – a comedy in three parts

I was an altar boy in a Roman Catholic church when eight years old, while my father spent his Sunday mornings lying in bed, sleeping off his hangover. I don’t think my mother believed, but thought it the best way to bring up the kids. Somehow, I found my own path through life.

“nae wimmin” = no women, as “Amen” sounds like “all men”.
